Who It Is For
This program is for
- Medical receptionists and office staff responsible for OHIP claims and rejections
- Newcomers with administrative backgrounds seeking an Ontario health care credential
- Career changers entering health care administration
Admission
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD); or
- A recognized Canadian health care credential, such as a PSW Certificate, SSW Diploma or RPN licence; or
- Evidence of current or recent employment (within the last 24 months) in a related occupation
- Applicants aged 19 or older without a secondary school diploma may apply through the Mature Student Assessment
- There is no maximum age limit
"This program does not require approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005". These are short professional development programs for skill upgrading and career transition. They do not qualify a graduate for registration with a regulatory body or for professional licensing.
